One Killed in Grenade Explosion in Paris

A French arms collector was killed Friday afternoon in a grenade explosion in his office at the eighth arrondissement of Paris, local media reported.
The victim Jerome Muriaux, a real estate and business lawyer, is a weapon amateur. While inspecting the explosive device that was delivered in a postal parcel in his office, the grenade suddenly blew him up, French daily Le Figaro reported.
Fears serial killer on the loose in Paris

There are growing fears a serial killer is stalking housing estates in the suburbs of Paris, where the same weapon has been used to murder four apparently innocent citizens since November.
The latest killing on Thursday of a 47-year-old mother, shot dead near her home in the Essonne suburb, prompted interior minister Claude Gueant to vow every effort was being made to find the killer.

Turkey’s ambassador is returning to Paris after he was recalled for consultations in response to a draft French law that would make it illegal to deny that the 1915 mass killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turks amounted to genocide.
“He’s coming back this weekend and will be in the embassy on Monday,” a Turkish embassy official in Paris told Reuters.
