Wiggins remains in Paris-Nice

Britain’s Bradley Wiggins retained the overall lead in the Paris-Nice as Luis Leon Sanchez won the sixth stage.
Spanish former champion Sanchez edged out veteran Jens Voigt as the two broke towards the end of the stage on the final hill.
Team Sky favourite Wiggins still leads by six seconds ahead of Holland’s Lieuwe Westra and third-placed American Levi Leipheimer, who is 10 seconds adrift.
Sharapova crashes out in Paris

TOP seed Maria Sharapova has crashed out of the WTA Paris Open in the quarter-finals overnight. She fell 6-4, 6-4 to German ninth seed Angelique Kerber.
Sharapova had breezed past Kerber in straight sets en route to the Australian Open final last month but the 24-year-old exacted sweet revenge on the world number three at a disbelieving Pierre de Coubertin indoor arena.
